Aslan’s Breath (Kidney and Gallstone Tea)

Aslan's Breath Tea

We have received a number of requests and curiosities over time regarding a “Stones” Tea.

It finally came up as the thing to blend in a particular timeframe.  (Blending new teas is an investment for us, and I have been trying to cut back on how many new things I make how swiftly.)  However, I was in the frame for being able to blend a new tea, and a dear friend had been talking about kidney stones – what they were doing, how they were affecting here, how she felt….

…  And I couldn’t stand it.  I decided that our new tea was going to be one for ‘Stones.’  Interestingly enough, kidney stones, gallstones, as far as plants deal with it, it is all one and the same.

I settled down and did the research, and it turned out that the best herbs were pretty much what I had expected.

We blended the tea, and sent out a sample batch, and…  now it comes to a more public audience.

The attachment to the ‘Chronicles of Narnia,’ in name, was pretty easy.  There was a band that wrote an entire album about the books that I was exposed to when I was a kid.  “He’s broken through” goes through my head every time I think about this tea.
