When I created ‘Ravensong,’ the first of the teas made due to the encouragement of friends to turn my skills to a wee bit of self-care, I knew that I would need to make an herbal version.
I drink entirely too much caffeine, and one of the ways to start to curtail that a touch is to make sure there are tasty herbal blends around to drink.
‘SereniTea: Raven’s Rest’ starts with chocolate malted barley and hawthorn berries for the foundation, and then uses that same wonderful flavour combination I chose for ‘Ravensong.’ (Chocolate, Elderberry, and Rosehips.)
Soothing, relaxing, and I even like it sans sweetening and dairy.
Good tea to make a pot of when I’ve decided I’m done for the day and am going to settle with some knitting or a good book. Also lovely for when life has just gotten to be a bit much, and I need to ease down a bit.
