Growing puppies end up being itchy. Especially giant breeds. They are stretching so swiftly that itching is just a part of the process.
Add to this general allergic response, and it looks fairly miserable.
Our Raubahn puppy does not seem to be adjusting well to the plant matter in New Mexico, and once I felt I’d done enough research, I decided to create a pair of teas. One to use as a rinse (though it would help internally as well), and one to use to mitigate his allergies.
‘Dog’s Life: Ditch the Itch’ is the one I designed to use as a rinse.
Organic Ingredients: Calendula, Lavender, Yarrow, Oregon Grape Root, St. John’s Wort
Batch Size: 2.6 ounces
Options: We currently only offer our Dog’s Life teas loose, in a bag. We are willing to discuss other options.
****I am not a vet. I have studied texts written by holistic vets (most of whom either started in allopathic medicine, or use both methods in their practices.) I apply the same standard of research to my pet teas that I do the ones for their bipeds. This includes needing to know about any medications they are currently being given. However, as with human medicine, the information presented here has not been evaluated by the FDA or other agencies, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease from a medical standpoint.
