Fall is a lovely time of year, for many different reasons.
I know several people who find the proliferation of the taste of pumpkin to be one of those reasons.
‘When September Ends’ was born out of a conversation by our intrepid tea naming group. I have a running list of tea ideas, some are names, some are flavour sets, some are medicinal ideas, and some are requests.
We have finally reached the proper season for working on, blending up, and releasing a variety of seasonal teas. ‘When September Ends’ and its companion tea ‘The Great Pumpkin,’ are the first of these planned-for-the-season teas to appear – in large part because the desire for them was so strong.
Eventually we plan to have two versions of this tea. One will be made with pumpkin powder, and will be available year round; the other will be made from actual bits of pumpkin, and will be available for as long as we can keep the pumpkin bits in stock. We are waiting impatiently for pumpkin season, so we can start to experiment.
