May/June 2025 Tea of the Month Club Selections

This entry is part 6 of 6 in the series TotMC (Standard) Chosen Teas

A blend of cinnamon, green herbs, and purple seaweed - the metal bowl the blend is held within barely showing in the lower right corner.

The teas for May and June were sent together due to the health disaster mentioned in the recent update posts. They also happened to be blended on the same day.

The tea chosen for May was “We’re All Mad Here” – a blend of Darjeeling (Second Flush), Freeze-Dried Cranberries, and Calendula and Cornflower Petals – the name riffing off of Alice in Wonderland.

The tea chosen for June was “Ask Not the Sea Her Secrets” – a blend of Chicory, Fair Trade Roasted Cacao Shells, Dulse, Tulsi, Blackberry Leaf, and Cinnamon – and is another salute to the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire.

Wet tea tapped out onto a saucer, a mix of Tulsi and chicory and seaweed and cacao shells and blackberry leaf and cinnamon. If you could smell the image it would give you a sense of fall and the Sea.

They were chosen, in part because of the timing of their blending and the two teas/two months of it all.

If you would like to see the full explanation about May and June and these two teas, joining the Tea of the Month Club gives you access to all the tea letters sent that I’ve posted to the website.
